Calendar of Events Downtown Council Meeting 9/23 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm Chamber Meeting Room
The Downtown Council (DTC) is committed to creating a vibrant, diverse, and economically sustainable downtown. The DTC is the primary advocate for the Downtown businesses, working in unison with the visitor’s bureau in creating a friendly destination for visitors, as well as for the people who live in New Bern and the outlying areas. One of the most successful programs that the DTC coordinates is Dickens of a Christmas. This group meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm and there is no fee to serve on the committee.
