New Bern Chamber of Commerce - Calendar of Events

Have you heard of speed dating? The New Bern Chamber is putting a new twist on a fun way to meet and network! This is how it works: We serve lunch from 11:30 am-12:00 pm. The networking event is from 12:00 -1:00 pm. Each person receives a rotation list that tells them at which table to sit. You sit at a table with five other people and each person has two minutes to talk about their business, give out coupons, brochures, and business cards. At the end of twelve minutes you get up and go to another table and meet with five other people. At the end of the hour you have attended a hardcore networking event, meeting 20 new people and leaving with good leads and new relationships. For $50 you can sponsor the event and we will provide you with a six-foot table along the edge of the room where you can display your "wares." Also, as a sponsor, you will have two minutes (between rotations, after everyone has been seated) to talk to the whole group about your business. This $50 includes a place in the rotation and lunch for one representative.
